Tom Taylor began his career in television in 1994 and by 2000 Tom was designing and supervising broadcast and effects work for Australia and Asia.

In 2001 Tom produced and directed his first short film 'Dark Age of Light'.

Dark Age of Light was invited to premier at the Melbourne International Film Festival, Animamundi in Rio De Janero, & Revelation in Perth. It won both audience favorite and overall festival winner at the Australian Sci-Fi film festival, as well as an A.T.O.M. award for best animation. The film was also invited into the Australian National Screen and Sound Archive.

After completing his short film, & with seven years of experience in post-production, In 2001 Tom formed his own production & post-production company - tcctaylor.com
