Tom Taylor began his career in animation in 1994 and by 2000 Tom was designing and supervising broadcast and effects work for Australia and Asia.

In 2001 Tom completed his first short film 'Dark Age of Light' The film was selected to screen at the Melbourne International Film Festival, Animamundi in Rio De Janero, & Revelation in Perth. It won both audience favorite and overall festival winner at the Australian Sci-Fi film festival, as well as an A.T.O.M. award for best animation.

Dark Age of Light also screens on Microsoft Pocketmovies & is approaching fifty thousand downloads. The film's pocketmovies site also contains pages of viewer reviews.

After completing his short film, & with seven years of experience in post-production, In 2001 Tom formed his own animation & post-production company - T-Mation

In it's first three years of operation T-Mation has completed 26 broadcast and commercial jobs for Asia and Australia, with clients including Toei-CM, Dentsu, Channel Nine, ABC Television, and SBS television.
